Tom was recently selected by the Merchant Risk Council (MRC) to help launch the Asia Pacific chapter from Singapore.

Thai Dinh, Head of Data Science and AI Paymaya

Thai leads Data Science and AI initiatives at PayMaya. His team is driving the effort of scaling Machine Learning applications and weaving intelligence into the fabric of operational processes to help PayMaya build an AI-First business. Before joining PayMaya, Thai was the Director of Data Science at Visa Inc., where he delivered advisory services to banking and fintech clients across emerging markets in Southeast Asia.

Bharath Vellore, General Manager, APAC Provenir

As General Manager of Asia-Pacific at Provenir, based in Singapore, Bharath is spearheading the effort to expand Provenir’s presence in the region. He is responsible to drive the strategy to quickly increase our engagement with the growing number of fintechs and innovative banks seeking access to industry-leading AI-powered risk decisioning software for real-time credit decisioning. He will oversee all regional business operations including sales, pre-sales, professional services, and customer success.

Bharath brings more than 15 years of experience working with Financial Services driving revenue growth, regional expansion and business development. Prior to joining Provenir, Vellore held leadership positions at LexisNexis Risk Solutions and Dow Jones.
