PayJunction, the Santa Barbara-based payments technology company, has appointed Scott Herriman as its new Vice President of Engineering, marking a significant addition to its executive leadership team during a period of rapid growth.
In his new role, Herriman will spearhead the advancement of PayJunction's No-code Payments Integration® platform, while establishing scalable engineering practices across the company's development, cloud operations, IT, and product teams.
Herriman brings substantial SaaS and payments expertise to the position, most recently serving as Director of Software Engineering at Procore Technologies, where he played a key role in leading multiple divisions through the company's US$10bn IPO in 2021. His prior experience includes Senior Vice President positions at FastSpring and Invoca, where he built a reputation for developing high-performing enterprise SaaS software and cloud technology teams.
Randy Modos, President of PayJunction, highlighted Herriman's track record in software development and engineering leadership as crucial assets for the company's expansion plans. The appointment aligns with PayJunction's people-first philosophy while ensuring the delivery of easily integrated payment solutions.
Commenting on his appointment, Herriman expressed admiration for PayJunction's human-first approach to payment processing, noting his enthusiasm for driving innovation that benefits customers. His appointment comes during a year of significant innovation for PayJunction, which has recently enhanced its platform with Text to Pay and surcharging capabilities.
