FinTech LIVE: Interview – Gerald Pullen, Concentrix Catalyst
The flagship event of the global FinTech LIVE series, FinTech LIVE London 2024 was dedicated to inspiring and empowering C/V/D level fintech executives in enterprise organisations.
Our hybrid FinTech LIVE London 2024 event provided a dynamic and interactive online platform, allowing attendees to connect, learn, and exchange insights on the latest trends, challenges, and best practices in fintech and financial services.
Cultivating a vibrant atmosphere, FinTech LIVE London enabled fintech leaders from the UK and Europe to forge connections and delve deeper into the most pressing fintech issues facing their organisations.
Here, we recap our exclusive FinTech LIVE London interview with Gerald Pullen, Managing Director, Business Transformation at Concentrix Catalyst.
What were the key takeaways from your discussions at FinTech LIVE?
“We primarily discussed real AI use cases. We explored the benefits and challenges of deploying AI, trying to bring these concepts to life.
“We examined how industries are using it, what results they're achieving, and where they're facing obstacles.
“For those unable to implement AI, we discussed why that might be, what problems they're encountering, and how they might overcome these challenges.”
Walk us through some of the projects Concentrix Catalyst is working on that leverage AI.
“We have approximately 180,000 advisers and 500 data engineers using AI daily to service our clients and customers.
“We're currently working on a product suite called IX. The first product, iXHello, is helping companies with an out-of-the-box solution for virtual assistants powered by generative AI.
“We're focused on making it easier for companies to get started by addressing security challenges, and we're bringing more products to market to support both customers and employees.”
What are some of Concentrix Catalyst's goals for the next 12-18 months?
“In the consulting division, our main aspirations centre on growth. While we currently support financial services and fintech extensively, we aim to expand deeper into other sectors such as healthcare and utilities.
“We want to ensure our clients understand how we can help them with various challenges, particularly from a customer journey perspective. Even with our AI initiatives, we're keen to anchor everything around customer experience and customer journeys.”
