Monday marks the first day of UK fintech week, a week developed to celebrate the UK’s place in the financial technology sphere.

On the first day of the event, Innovate Finance, FinTech Scotland and FinTech North have formed a national network to encourage innovators up and down the country to connect and form multiple fintech hubs and centres of excellence.

While London is known for its fintech prowess, FinTech Scotland and FinTech North have been established to make sure fintech development is supported beyond just the capital.
