Syspro and Nuvei are integrating payments into ERP, enabling real-time processing, unified data & improved cash flow visibility for manufacturers globally

Manufacturing software provider Syspro has formed a partnership with financial technology company Nuvei to integrate payments directly within Syspro’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform.

The collaboration enhances Syspro’s PayThem Payment Gateway, linking sales orders and accounts receivable with Nuvei’s global payments infrastructure.

“Payments are a critical part of that, but they’ve often been disconnected from the ERP. This partnership brings them back into the core system, helping customers collect funds faster, reduce manual effort, and operate with greater control.”

In a press release, Nuvei states that the integration enables customers to process payments in real time, automatically update accounts receivable and reserve funds at the point of order creation, while supporting transactions across 150 currencies and more than 200 markets.

McKinsey notes that as software becomes increasingly central to nearly every business, a growing number of industrial companies are investing in it to enhance product intelligence and unlock new sources of revenue and innovation.

The consulting firm adds that companies that execute this effectively can increase their enterprise value by up to 1.5 times.

What is Syspro’s ERP for manufacturers?

Hosted on Microsoft Azure, Syspro’s purpose-built digital ERP platform integrates inventory, logistics and financial management within a single system.

Syspro positions its approach as cloud-first, underpinned by an AI-enabled foundation.

The company says the software helps minimise equipment downtime, deliver full lot traceability and optimise supply chain performance, while supporting OEM relationships and improving cost accuracy.

Nuvei’s payment infrastructure

Nuvei says the integration addresses longstanding challenges for manufacturers using ERP platforms, where payments have traditionally sat outside core operational systems, often leading to delays in fund collection and fragmented data.

It adds that when a sales order is created in Syspro, payment processing, accounts receivable updates and cash flow reporting all take place within the same environment, removing the need to switch between systems or manually reconcile payment data after the fact.

Phil Fayer, Nuvei’s Chair & CEO, says: “For manufacturers and distributors, payments need to operate as part of the business, not as a disconnected process.

“By partnering with Syspro, we’re bringing our global payments infrastructure directly into the ERP systems these businesses rely on every day. That means they can operate across markets with the local performance, visibility and control they need to scale.”
