Women in business: who to look out for at Money20/20 Europe
With the Europe iteration of Money20/20 to be held next week in Amsterdam, we take a look at some of the female business leaders set to attend, and what we can learn from them.
Who? Megan Caywood
Where? Barclays
Role? Managing Director and Global Head of Digital Strategy.
Listed on the Forbed 30 under 30 list, Caywood has been at Barclays since 2019. She now leads digital strategy across the UK as well as Barclays International.

Caywood will be debating ‘how do you transform traditional banks to compete in the digital banking battlefield?’ onstage on the Monday, and will take part in a panel on ‘how to transform a bank’s tech platform’ on the Tuesday.

Calmejane has been Group CIO of Société Générale since joining the company in September 2018. She looks to foster an innovative culture at the organisation and identify new business developments.

Hogg serves as an Executive Vice President and CEO for VISA’s Europe operations, where she brings experience working for global consultancies as well as the Bank of England.

Hogg will be involved in a ‘fireside chat’ on the Tuesday, outlining why it will be necessary for businesses to form partnerships in the payments sphere. The session will explore how effective partnerships can be a fruitful opportunity for both parties and can improve end user experience.
Who? Melinda Roylett
Where? Square
Square is a financial services and payments company which markets both hardware and software.
Role? Head of Europe
Roylett leads Square’s European business from its HQ in Dublin. She has also been named as one of ’35 Women to Watch in Business Under 35’ by the Sunday Times.

Roylett will take part in a panel called ‘the changing payments value chain’, chaired by Scott Harkey, Global Payments Lead at payment infrastructure business Levvel. Joined by execs from Yapstone, Worldpay and PPRO, the group will have a lot of insight into the world of payments.
