YouLend Partners with eBay Germany for Seller Financing

YouLend has launched a partnership with eBay Germany to provide sellers with integrated financing through the eBay Seller Capital programme.
The collaboration represents YouLend's expansion into the German market following its existing partnership with eBay in the UK.
The embedded financing platform - a service integrated directly into existing business software - offers German eBay sellers pre-approved funding of up to €2m (US$2.26m).
Sellers receive personalised financing offers based on their performance data, eliminating separate application procedures.
Direct Platform Integration Streamlines Access
The financing service operates through direct integration with eBay's seller interface. Sellers receive funding offers without decision uncertainty, lengthy applications or extended waiting periods due to YouLend's integration into the eBay platform.
Leonard Strigel, General Manager Germany at YouLend, says the integration creates opportunities for capital deployment across multiple business areas.
“Sellers benefit from a chain reaction: quicker inventory restocks, improved product listing, or targeted marketing leading to greater visibility, higher sales, and more growth opportunities — all of which can be financed through YouLend,” Leonard states.
“This cycle of funding, growth, and reinvestment helps increase seller revenues.”
The partnership targets small and medium-sized enterprises operating on eBay's German marketplace.
Embedded financing allows platform partners to offer credit services directly through their existing interfaces, providing merchants with funding options integrated into their daily business operations.
“Traditionally, access to capital has been slow and complex, especially for online sellers. Our integrated solution changes that: it's simple, digital and reliable”
German Launch Follows UK Success
YouLend's expansion builds on its established partnership with eBay UK, which has operated for over four years.
The company operates as an embedded financing platform, partnering with e-commerce and technology platforms including Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Etsy, SumUp, Deliveroo and Dojo.
Leonard emphasises the opportunity for integrated financing solutions in Germany.
“With eBay Seller Capital, we're expanding access to funding for small and medium-sized businesses in Germany,” Leonard says.
“Traditionally, access to capital has been slow and complex, especially for online sellers. Our integrated solution changes that: it's simple, digital, and reliable.”
The German market represents YouLend's continued expansion across Europe, with operations spanning nine countries including the UK, EU and United States.
The company has issued more than 300,000 financings since its establishment, focusing on e-commerce merchants requiring working capital.
Felix Kristl, General Manager Seller Capital EU at eBay, describes the partnership's strategic value for marketplace development.
“Our sellers are the backbone of our marketplace,” Felix states. “With YouLend, we've found a partner that delivers real value, exactly when sellers need capital to take the next step.”
YouLend positions itself as a specialist in embedded financing for e-commerce, payments, and technology platforms.
The company's software and APIs - application programming interfaces that allow different software systems to communicate - enable partners to expand their product offerings by providing merchants with financing solutions.
