These are some of the speakers from the payments industry who will grace the stage at FinTech LIVE London next week. Stay tuned for part two!

A diverse array of payments industry professionals will speak at FinTech LIVE London, which returns to the capital next week.

The two-day event, taking place from 8-9 November at the QEII Centre in Westminster, will bring together some of the brightest minds in the world of financial technology. There will be lively fireside discussions, keynote addresses and opportunities to network with like-minded professionals.

Here are some of the payments industry speakers attending this year.

Alex Orechoff

Director of Financial Services Vertical Growth at Worldpay

Alex has over 10 years’ experience in driving strategic growth and accelerating innovation in the financial services industry across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. As Director of Financial Services Vertical Growth at Worldpay, he helps the company evolve payments solutions to best serve merchants and their customers.

Shekhar Kachole

Chief Technology Officer at Worldline

Shekhar Kachole is a results-oriented CTO with a background in fintech, and over 28 years of experience in the industry. He strives to consistently break new ground, produces business value by enhancing existing capabilities, and delivers unique solutions with lasting engineering and financial benefits for an organisation. As well as a motivational team leader and an inventive problem solver, Kachole is also an executive coach and mountaineer.

Kamila McWilliam

VP of Corporate Development at GoCardless

Kamila McWilliam joined GoCardless from digital payments infrastructure provider PPRO, where she was VP Head of Corporate Development. Prior to that, she held a variety of leadership roles at Barclays, most recently as Director in the Group Corporate Development team. At GoCardless, she is responsible for driving and accelerating the fintech's inorganic growth by defining and executing its global M&A strategy.

Clare Pearson

Director of Open Banking and Payments at epam

Clare is an experienced professional in all aspects of the payments and banking industry. She has experience of delivering strategic and technical initiatives for global expansion programmes and ecommerce, omni-channel, APMs, payout models, domestic and cross-border schemes across multiple channels and gateways. She was appointed as a panel advisor to the Payment Systems Regulator in January 2023.

Amelie Doublet

Legal Counsel at Convera

Amelie is in-house legal counsel for Convera, a global leader in providing FX products and services and payments solutions. She is a US-qualified lawyer who has worked in Luxembourg for most of her career, and has been working in the fintech industry since 2020 with a focus on business legal affairs. Prior to this, she worked at law firms Clifford Chance and Linklaters.

Bradley Miles

Chief Financial Officer at Diesta

Bradley Miles is CFO at Diesta, which is developing payment software to modernise the flow of funds in the insurance industry. After eight years working in investment banking for Nomura, Royal Bank of Canada, and Santander, he left to go into a venture capital accelerator programme in pursuit of something entrepreneurial and identified insurance as an industry with antiquated processes and excessive inefficiency.
