With only a couple of days left to go before FinTech LIVE London, we conclude our roundup of the expert speakers by delving into telecoms and data

FinTech LIVE London will return to the capital this week. The two-day event, taking place from 8-9 November at the QEII Centre in Westminster, will bring together some of the brightest minds in the world of financial technology.

They include some notable speakers from the world of telecoms and data. Ahead of the event, we round up the speakers from this field you can look forward to.

Peter Pugh-Jones

Director, Financial Services at Confluent

Having primarily spent the first half of his career working on batch-based, finance-related systems, Peter became an advocate of event streaming architectures in the early 2010s.

With the convergence of data streaming, automation and artificial intelligence on the cusp of this fourth industrial revolution, Peter firmly believes there has never been a more exciting time to be helping customers maximise the value they can obtain from processing their data in motion.

Sandeep Amar

Chief Privacy Officer, Head of Data Protection and Third Party Assurance at MSCI

Sandeep is a seasoned expert in the field of compliance within the financial services sector. He has been at the forefront of driving controls delivery for operations and information risk whilst navigating the ever-changing regulatory landscape and ensuring adherence to industry standards for over two decades.

Noam Izhaki

Co-Founder and CEO at Ballerine

Noam started his career as a software developer, and in recent years has led global expansion and products in financial services and at Wix.com. Today, Noam is the founder of Ballerine.com, a platform dedicated to assisting global payment companies and marketplaces with the onboarding of merchants and sellers, as well as managing KYB/C and ongoing risk.

Steve Rackham

CTO for Financial Services at NetApp

Steve Rackham is the CTO for Financial Services at NetApp. Steve began his career in technology working for Sequent Computers, spending time at Intel and StorageTek. Joining NetApp in 2016, Steve has spent over 15 years focusing on FSI working on accounts across the vertical including heading up a global pre-sales team for a large, multi-national bank before moving to his current CTO role.​

David Palmer

CPO and Web3 Lead at Vodafone

David Palmer is a digital visionary, innovator and author. He is the Chief Product Officer and co-founder of Vodafone’s Digital Asset Broker (DAB) platform, and one of the leaders in blockchain technology for Vodafone Business. David is a recognised thought leader in blockchain, Web3 and the application of these technologies to telecoms and wider enterprise business.

Arunita Roy

Data Automation Lead at the Reserve Bank of Australia

Arunita is the Data Automation Lead at the Reserve Bank, having moved over from the Bank of England where she spent over four years involved in leading and deploying key innovation tools like an ML-enabled chatbot and Speech To Text tool. At the RBA, she is leading on Data Enhancement strategies, bringing in efficiency within processes and systems and strategising on key innovation pieces.

Rishan Shah

Senior Data Scientist at Reply Data

Rishan is a Data Scientist at Data Reply UK with six years of industry experience. His work spans various sectors, with a notable background in data analytics related to payments. His analytical skills have been key in driving data-centric business strategies, offering valuable insights for a diverse array of clients.

Clare Messenger

Global Head of Mobile Intelligence Services at JT

Clare heads up the Mobile Intelligence division for JT Group – a Tier-1 telecom company with over 600 mobile network operator partners worldwide. Working closely with these MNO partners, JT provides network data solutions that protect against identity theft and account takeover and support businesses with SCA. Clare started her career in the media industry heading up commercial teams within the publishing, TV and digital sectors.

Fabio Ardossi

Partner at Reply Data

Fabio Ardossi is the partner at Data Reply UK – a highly specialised Reply Group company with a passion and focus on data engineering, data science, data analytics and data transformation. Big data trends and technologies have been an interest of Fabio’s since 2012, when he first created the practice within the Reply Group. Since then he has led Reply’s data-based initiatives across both the Italian and UK markets.
