Avenir secures significant pre-seed funding

Emerging player Avenir shows promise as $500,000 is secured in just three months

The UK-based wealth management solutions provider, Avenir, has secured $530,000 in pre-seed funding, following the completion of the ABN AMRO + Techstars Future of Finance accelerator program.

Avenir is a wealth management software company that provides regulatory compliance reports and scores businesses based on their sustainability. The software was created so advisors can integrate their clients' values into investment strategies, creating customised portfolios and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

By leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced Direct Indexing technology, Avenir offers personalised investment solutions that reduce significant administrative time for advisors and showcase tangible impact beyond financial returns to their clients, providing customised wealth management solutions on a large scale.

Avenir has also garnered support from prominent investors, including SFC Capital and Techstars, the world’s largest pre-seed investors. Along with other notable angel investors, like FNZ, JP Morgan, and Morgan Stanley, Avenir has sucessfully bolstering its financial backing early. The company aims to use the funds to further develop their B2B wealth management software suite.

"As the lead investor in Avenir, we're thrilled to support its mission of reshaping the wealth management landscape," comments Ed Stevenson, Investment Executive at SFC Capital. "Its innovative approach and dedication to personalisation and digitalisation are truly impressive."

Allard Luchsinger, Managing Director of Techstars, added, "Avenir's team possesses the drive and expertise needed to make a significant impact in the financial industry. We're excited to see them continue to innovate and disrupt the market with next generation wealth management tools."

Jeremy Bensoussan, CEO and Co-founder of Avenir.

"Closing our pre-seed funding round within just three months reflects the market's craving for personalised digital solutions in wealth management," says Jeremy Bensoussan, CEO and Co-founder of Avenir. "The support from SFC Capital, Techstars, and our angel investors confirms our mission's importance. With this funding, we're poised to disrupt the £1.2 trillion in assets under management within the wealth management sector in the UK, while continuing to innovate and deliver exceptional value to financial professionals and their clients.”

With backing from leading investors like SFC Capital and Techstars, Avenir aims to further develop its B2B wealth management software suite. CEO Jeremy Bensoussan highlights the market demand for personalised digital solutions in wealth management and expresses confidence in Avenir's ability to innovate and disrupt the sector.
