PaymentGenes & Conexus Group: helping fintech efficiency

Bram Vreugdenhil and Neill Butcher offer industry insights into how financial institutions can educate their staff to better serve customers

FinTech Magazine recently spoke with Bram Vreugdenhil, Co-Founder and MD, PaymentGenes and Neill Butcher, CCO of Conexus Group at Money 20/20 in Amsterdam.

Both discussed how the future of fintech is here, which includes tracking talent globally as well as becoming more efficient within a banking business.

Butcher offered valuable insight into fraud increases and how Conexus Group capitalised on a business case for payments becoming involved within the marketplace. He discusses how he then went on to build a talent business synonymous with that ecosystem and how fintech businesses need to get as defined as they can in terms of talent for growth.

Likewise, Vreugdenhil spoke on current profitability and efficiency trends and how financial businesses are acting on these motivators instead of hiring massive numbers of new staff. He states that banks and other financial organisations need to develop knowledge to be more efficient and in touch with their customers, which includes mass education efforts for their employees.
