In attendance at Money 20/20, PagSeguro MD Caio Da Costa spoke with FinTech Magazine, where he outlined the company’s intentions to become even more of a cross-border player in the financial world.
He discussed payment solutions, especially those that are cross-border, and how the company wants to expand its services across South America. The services include digital wallets, international transactions and pay-in-pay-out offerings, which are all new services that financial institutions are using to try and get ahead of the digital curve.
The company is beneficial for partners that are wanting to connect with Latin American users, according to Da Costa. Key providers like PagSeguro are easy to access and allow users to connect with companies and merchants in an easily accessible way.
He also spoke on PagSeguro’s focus on gaming, as this was the origin of the company. He is keen to share insight into the company’s white paper, which includes the benefits of financial organisations appealing to those within the gaming community and what the market can offer them.
