Nick is a recognised industry expert within payments, with his expertise and knowledge gained over seven years proving to be a valuable resource to clients.
He regularly presents to audiences across the payments space, with recent speaking engagements including events in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Dubai.
Nick has a BA (Hons) degree in History from the University of Reading and previously worked as an industry analyst in the energy and utilities markets.
What inspired you to get involved in the event?
As a leading analyst in the fintech and payments space, it's so important to be at the key events where critical topics are being discussed, and FinTech LIVE Dubai presents a great opportunity for just that, for discussion and collaboration.
Provide an overview of what your panel will focus on.
I'm participating in a panel on AI in FinTech, which is such a great topic.
Whether it's AI for fraud prevention, AI in credit scoring or the many other uses of AI, it's having a major impact on fintech, so it'll be great to discuss the implications of that going forward.
What do you hope to achieve through the event?
I hope to have a really interesting discussion with key thought leaders in the fintech space, allowing us all to collaborate and move the market forward.
What emerging trends do you believe will shape the future of fintech over the next decade?
There are so many! Obviously, AI will have a dramatic impact, and we expect further advances such as agentic AI to boost this impact further.
New payment methods are having a big impact too. Account-to-account payments are topical and gaining traction, as are stablecoins, particularly in the cross-border arena.
We expect the next decade to see increasing innovation and change.
