Meet Jas Narang, Chief Transformation Officer and Financial Crime Director at Santander UK
Jas Narang is currently Chief Transformation Officer and Financial Crime Director at Santander UK.
As part of the Financial Crime role, Jas and his team are responsible for managing those that deter, detect and disrupt Financial Crime across Santander UK and help us to get back into and sustain Board Risk Appetite.
As Chief Transformation Officer, his team are collaborating across Santander UK and Group to build core capabilities including digital, process re-engineering, data, agile ways of working, supply chain management and people and organisation levers to help set the foundations for the bank to grow in the future whilst maximising productivity.
What inspired you to get involved in the event?
My involvement in FinTech LIVE Dubai 2025 is on the back of my experience with speaking at FinTech LIVE London in 2024.
Provide an overview of what your fireside chat will focus on.
The Future of Digital Banking with Santander – how we are adapting to changing customer needs to drive better and quicker outputs driven on the back of evolving technology to make it more convenient for customers to access products and services.
What do you hope to achieve through the event?
I hope to learn from what others are doing in this space and share what we’re doing, thinking and how we are approaching the challenge of meeting ever-changing customer demands in a swift and agile manner.
What emerging trends do you believe will shape the future of fintech over the next decade?
In the next decade, we will see the impact of AI and Gen AI drive more effective customer engagement and delivery of products and services to customers.
