Aditya Bhasin, CTIO, Bank of America: Technology Innovation

Aditya Bhasin serves as the Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO) at Bank of America, where he is a member of the company's executive management team.
In this capacity, Aditya leads a global team of over 60,000 employees responsible for designing and delivering technology solutions across all lines of business and staff support areas.
His oversight includes Global Information Security, Technology Infrastructure, Independent Technical Assessment and Global Business Services.
Aditya’s career journey
Since joining Bank of America in 2004, Aditya has held multiple leadership roles.
Before his current position, he was the head of Consumer, Small Business, Wealth Management and Employee Technology, focusing on enhancing the bank's online and mobile banking platforms, as well as services in financial centres and Merrill and Private Bank offices.
Before joining the bank, Aditya was a principal at Booz Allen & Hamilton, serving clients globally.
Aditya holds master's degrees in Computer Engineering and Engineering Management from Dartmouth College. He earned his undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Computer Science from Hamilton College.
Industry influence
Beyond his technical responsibilities, Aditya is the executive sponsor for several advocacy groups within the bank, including the Women in Technology & Operations, the Hispanic and Latino Leadership Advisory Council and the Black Leadership Advisory Council for Global Technology.
He also serves on Bank of America's Asian Advisory Council, supporting the advancement of employees of Asian descent. In 2022, Aditya received the A-List Award for courageous leadership from Ascend Inc., a nonprofit pan-Asian organisation for business professionals.
Aditya’s extensive experience and leadership in technology have been instrumental in advancing Bank of America's digital transformation and security.
His commitment to innovation and inclusion continues to drive the bank's success in the evolving financial landscape.
