This exclusive webinar explores how a unified operating model & AI-first transactional intelligence enable real-time visibility & autonomous spend control

As organisations scale quickly, finance, procurement and IT functions risk becoming entangled in disconnected systems.

This challenge is intensified by manual processes, siloed operations and limited visibility over spend.

Together, these issues can lead to delayed payments, recurring errors and reduced control over budgets.

The problem deepens as technology stacks expand. With businesses increasingly adopting specialised tools across finance, procurement and IT, data is often dispersed across multiple platforms – creating what is commonly known as "tool sprawl".

This fragmentation not only obscures spend visibility but also drives shadow spend, duplicated subscriptions and time-consuming reconciliation processes.

For leaders aiming to improve agility, the focus has shifted beyond simple digitisation towards integrating systems, teams and data into a cohesive operating model.

To explore this further, Coupa and Rossum are hosting an exclusive webinar, The Global Accounts Payable Blueprint: Eliminating Fragmentation for Real-Time Visibility, taking place on 17 June from 10:00am to 11:00am BST.

AI-driven innovation in spend management

A range of solutions exists for organisations aiming to address these challenges, though many consider Coupa and Rossum to be among the frontrunners in this space.

Having partnered since 2024, it was confirmed at this year’s Coupa Inspire that Coupa plans to acquire Rossum.

This move builds on an existing collaboration that already streamlines complex accounts payable invoicing, extending intelligent document processing (IDP) capabilities across the full Coupa platform to support autonomous spend management powered by agentic AI.

While customers already leverage Rossum’s embedded AP functionality within Coupa, this development enables them to extend those benefits across both direct and indirect spend.

Underpinned by a purpose-built Transactional Large Language Model (T-LLM), Rossum’s enhanced IDP capabilities offer accelerated processing, meaningful cost efficiencies and greater control over intricate invoicing data.

Speaking when the acquisition was announced, Leagh Turner, CEO of Coupa, said: “Rossum changes the game entirely.

“As a strong partner since 2024, we know there is incredible value in bringing the two companies together across the entire source-to-pay function.

“The combined value of Coupa and Rossum has been proven in AP and invoicing, and we see massive future value in applying Rossum’s T-LLM and AI-first technology across the Coupa platform.

“We’ve been able to deliver over US$300bn in customer savings over the past 20 years.

“With Rossum, we believe we can help them save the next US$300bn in five with a system of decision and intelligence that is unrivalled.”

Rossum moves beyond legacy OCR by introducing an AI-first architecture built specifically for modern finance operations.

Its proprietary model, trained on tens of millions of documents, applies transactional intelligence that continuously adapts to unique data inputs, enabling faster time-to-value.

Driving efficiency: The Eurowag success story

Working alongside Accenture, the two companies supported Eurowag in addressing fragmented manual workflows and siloed operations that had emerged בעקבות rapid acquisition-led growth.

The London-based commercial mobility and financial services provider standardised its procure-to-pay processes with Coupa.

By replacing disconnected invoice workflows with automated accounts payable solutions and implementing Contract Lifecycle Management across its 2,000-strong workforce, Eurowag achieved fully standardised AP processes across the group, enabling complete real-time visibility over spend.

This transformation, underpinned by automated three-way matching, reinforced financial controls to reduce the risk of fraud and overpayments.

As a result, Eurowag increased its on-time payment rate by 30% while significantly improving compliance and audit readiness.

Marcella Mathes, Head of Finance Processes and Digital Finance at Eurowag, says: “Coupa provides a clear, traceable link between purchase orders, receipts and invoices – supporting finance and compliance with a reliable audit trail.”

Professionals will now have the opportunity to hear directly from those behind the initiative in an exclusive webinar, where speakers will unpack the collaborative approach that transformed Eurowag’s operations.

Attendees will gain insight into how a standardised, end-to-end AP framework was established, alongside the use of AI-driven automation to create a single, reliable source of truth for spend data.

The webinar will cover:

  • The transformation strategy: How Eurowag shifted from reactive, manual firefighting to proactive, real-time spend management
  • The power of integration: A deep dive into the unified Coupa and Rossum ecosystem, and how Accenture designed a core model scalable across 60 global entities
  • Tangible business outcomes: How Eurowag achieved a 70% automation rate, slashed processing time from nine days to just four and boosted on-time payments to more than 90%
  • Scaling for the future: A first look at its 2026 roadmap, focusing on advanced AI strategies and centralised global supplier contracts.

Finance, procurement and IT leaders looking for a practical blueprint to eliminate operational friction and build a data-driven foundation for global growth should attend.
