Santander UK has unveiled four additions to its Executive Committee as part of a broader leadership realignment designed to bring the business closer to the operating model of its parent, Banco Santander.

The changes come as the bank continues progressing the integration of TSB into its operations.

The leadership overhaul spans key areas including finance, accounting, compliance and payments.

Three of the four appointments stem from structural adjustments introduced by CEO Officer Mahesh Aditya to better reflect the Group’s framework.

He will replace Angel Santodomingo, who has held the CFO position since 2023. Angel will step down as an Executive Director of Santander UK Group Holdings plc and Santander UK plc on 31 October 2026, ahead of taking on a new position at Banco Santander in January 2027.

Tom says: ā€œI’m very pleased to be returning to Santander UK in the role of CFO.

ā€œThe acquisition of TSB marks an important new chapter for the bank and I look forward to supporting a successful integration and working with both new and former colleagues.ā€

Both Tom and Steve will report directly to Mahesh.

Santander UK says that the revised finance structure is aligned with the wider group model, enabling clearer accountability and sharper focus across senior leadership.
