FinTech Magazine is honoured to announce The Global FinTech Awards winners for its debut in 2024

Held on October 22, The Global FinTech Awards brought together influential and inspiring leaders in financial services and technology to honour outstanding achievements in digital banking, payment technology, sustainable fintech and more. 

The event highlighted exceptional creativity, technological advancements and industry leadership, with all those nominated serving as role models and inspiring change towards a more sustainable and financially inclusive future.

Meet the Winners of 2024

🏆 Digital Banking Award - Citadele Bank

Headquartered in Latvia, Citadele Bank is dedicated to serving its clients in the Baltic region. The bank offers a wide range of banking products, including loans, cards, and investment solutions. Citadele Bank has a strong focus on digital solutions and services providing mobile banking and contactless payment options.  

🏆 Payment Technology Award - Dojo

Based in the UK, Dojo is a payment processing company that provides card payment solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Dojo is known for its emphasis on fast payment settlements and next-day payments to merchants. 

🏆 Financial Services Award - auxmoney

A leading digital-lending platform for consumer credit in Europe. Through unique risk models and truly digital and data driven processes, auxmoney improves access to affordable credit while offering a highly convenient customer experience.

Henk van Hulle has won the Executive of the Year Award

🏆 AI in FinTech Award - Chaser

Another UK-based company, Chaser is a fintech that provides software to automate the accounts receivable process. The company helps businesses manage and chase overdue invoices through its cloud-based platform, improving cash flow and reducing debtor days. 

🏆 Fraud & ID Verification Award - Mangopay

Headquartered in Luxembourg, Mangopay specialises in marketplace and crowdfunding platforms. The company enables the creation of customisable payment solutions for platforms. Handling payment processing to comply with financial regulations.  

🏆 Sustainable FinTech Award - TRACE blockchain by IFAD

Developed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), TRACE is a blockchain-based platform aimed at improving the traceability and transparency of agricultural supply chains. TRACE blockchain helps farmers and agricultural cooperatives to record and track the origin, movements, and quality of products. 

🏆 Finance Technology Award - TaxBit

US-based, TaxBit provides tax and accounting solutions for cryptocurrency transactions. The company automates the tax reporting process for individuals, enterprises, and governments to ensure compliance with cryptocurrency tax regulations.

Founded in 2019, FinTech Magazine was launched when the industry was experiencing significant growth. With digital inclusion and easy access to finance being crucial to fostering economic growth, reducing poverty, and promoting social equity – for the last five years – the magazine and website have been growing constantly to support the knowledge of financial services and technology executives and help them gain invaluable insights and best practice case studies on core industry issues. 

The last five years alone have seen a wave of innovations in the fintech industry leveraging mobile technology, cloud computing, big data, AI, Blockchain and cryptocurrency resulting in a widespread adoption across industries and a transformation of the financial landscape. 

Establishing FinTech LIVE in 2021, our ambition was to magnify the impact of not only FinTech Magazine but its sister brand InsurTech Digital too by bringing them to life. 🏆 Future Leader Award - Praveen TM

A highly accomplished global payments leader, Praveen has over 20 years of experience in providing strategic vision and leadership to digital payment domains. As the CEO of Opus Technologies, Praveen specialises in digital transformation strategies and delivering scalable payment solutions to yield sustainable revenue flows.

🏆 Executive of the Year Award - Henk van Hulle

CEO of Open Banking, Henk is an entrepreneurial commercial leader who builds and scales profitable businesses in both corporates and start-ups. Henk has more than 20 years of executive experience at international and group levels in financial services, insurance, mail, parcels, and ecommerce. 

In his role as CEO of Open Banking, Henk is dedicated to improving people’s financial lives by giving them control over their money, whilst maintaining his core values of transparency, trust, and professional integrity. 

🏆 Lifetime Achievement Award - Simon Paris (CEO at Finastra)

As CEO of Finastra, Simon is responsible for day-to-day management of the company and for strategy execution. Simon has been instrumental in leading the company’s innovation and expansion efforts focusing on open banking and cloud-based services.
