Polinah Gatawa, Operations Executive in the Financial Services Industry
A senior executive with over 20 years of experience leading high-performance financial services teams, Polinah Gatawa is experienced in new product and solution development and go-to-market client segments.
An Operations Executive in the Financial Services Industry, Gatawa is a banking executive with focused experience in optimising business performance, including overseeing operational functions and spearheading cross-functional strategic initiatives. As an independent consultant, Gatawa leverages her experience to empower rapidly scaling Fintech startups, particularly those focused on medical healthcare, microfinancing and lending platforms.
Before becoming an independent consultant, Gatawa was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of two business units under the corporate and investment banking division of Absa Group. Well-versed in the finance industry, Gatawa has worked in the finance sector of multiple organisations including Italtile Limited, Compass Insurance, AIG, and Metalsa.
Speaking at FinTech LIVE, Gatawa will be taking part in the Women in FinTech panel.
