Nicolas Parfait
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Nicolas is an experienced technologist with over 20 years’ experience working across banking, fintech and media. He was an early member of the Avenue Bank technology team having joined in 2020. Nicolas has played a key role in architecting and implementing Avenue’s technology platform with a lean team.
Prior to working at Avenue, Nicolas has held multiple roles in engineering, as a scrum master and product owner for large financial institutions and multiple start-ups and scale-ups. This experience has led Nicolas to be able to deliver scalable and secure solutions whilst understanding how to balance technology spend and scale commensurate to the size and risk profile of the business.
Nicolas holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science with first class honours from the University of Technology Sydney.
