Kane Tomlin

Dr. Kane Tomlin is a former US Army Master Diver, and the former Special Programs Director for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Kane was recently promoted from the Security Officer role to the Chief Technology Officer role at the Mississippi Department of Health in 2024 where he is embarking on a technological modernization program focused on citizen and patient-centric solutions.
Professor Tomlin also teaches Cybersecurity, National Security, and Emergency Management at various institutions such as NYU, NC State, and Excelsior University. He is also an NSA instructor and keynote speaker.
Kane deployed twice to Iraq and has worked extensively around the globe while a member of the Army’s Engineer Dive Teams.
