Omer Shatzky, Head of FinTech and Risk at Wix
Dedicating the last 14 years to the intricacies of the payments industry, Omer Shatzky has been Head of FinTech at Wix since 2016 and assumed the role of Head of Risk in 2022.
In his role, Shatzky oversees the efforts to combat financial fraud for Wix Premium products, Wix Payments - the company’s proprietary payment processing solution - and Wix Partners. Shatsky helps to empower businesses in the Wix ecosystem to realise its full financial potential, while also keeping the risk level low for both Wix’s users and Wix.
Shatzky has more than 20 years of experience in product management and professional services and has an extensive portfolio of accomplished projects.
Shatzky’s main achievement at Wix is founding Wx Payments a payment service that allows merchants to manage orders and payments from within the Wix ecosystem, without needing third-party payment providers.
