Priya Bajoria, Senior Vice President of Gen AI Offerings at Publicis Sapient
Priya Bajoria leads the Sales and Go-to-Market for Generative AI offerings at Publicis Sapient – a premier consulting firm.
Her primary focus is on modernising the IT application landscape, partnering with clients across industries globally, leveraging Gen AI.
Until April 2024, Priya led the FS business for the US East Coast and Canada, nurturing client relationships and driving new sales with a team of client partners and engagement leads.
Before joining Publicis Sapient in 2019, Priya was at Infosys for two decades, leading the growth of the Capital Markets Practice and building out the FS Solutions Consulting Practice.
She started her career as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in Asia and brings a unique perspective on financial services and the IT consulting industries.
She has enjoyed her travels to nearly 60 countries and thrives in a multi-cultural and continuous learning environment.
During the event, Priya will be taking part in the AI in FinTech panel. She will discuss how AI is revolutionising areas such as fraud detection, personalised financial services and automated trading.
She will also share insights on the implementation of AI technologies, the benefits they bring to financial institutions and the challenges of maintaining data security and ethical standards in AI applications.
Cecilia Tamez, Chief Strategy Officer at Dandelion Payments
Cecilia Tamez is the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Data Science for Euronet’s Money Transfer Division. Cecilia leads strategic initiatives and drives AI integration across Xe, Ria Money Transfer and Dandelion.
With nearly two decades of experience in fintech and more than 10 years in AI, she played a pivotal role in scaling Xe from an early-stage company to its acquisition by Euronet in 2015.
Cecilia spearheads the development of AI-powered solutions that enhance compliance, mitigate risk and optimise operational efficiency – modernising payment infrastructure and enabling real-time cross-border transactions.
Passionate about bridging the payments innovation gap between developed and emerging markets, Cecilia is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
She shares insights on cross-border payments, AI-driven solutions and the future of financial services, contributing to the ongoing evolution of global payments and fintech.
During the event, Cecilia will deliver a keynote presentation.
Philippe Daoust, Managing Director and VP of Innovation at National Bank of Canada (NAventures)
Philippe is the Managing Director for NAventures at National Bank of Canada. He focuses on sourcing companies that will advance the bank’s transformation.
Before joining NAventures, Philippe developed and led the integration and separation advisory practice at a Big 4 firm. He played a varied role, ranging from engagement sourcing to due diligence and integration advisory. He worked on large mergers and acquisition projects, including transformative deals for Canadian financial institutions.
During the event, Philippe will take part in the FinTech Strategies panel. He will discuss the innovative strategies that are shaping the future of financial technology. Exploring the evolving landscape of fintech, including emerging trends, disruptive technologies and successful business models.
