Mehran Koushkebaghi, Head of Product Security at Nationwide Building Society
Mehran is an accomplished certified engineer with over 15 years of experience in IT security and engineering, spanning across finance, construction and publication industries.
Currently, he holds the Head of Product Security position at the Nationwide Building Society. Mehran emphasises the systemic nature of security concerns, stressing the need for a comprehensive understanding of all system components.
He has been instrumental in advocating secure-by-design software, implementing security controls in the initial phases of the development lifecycle and embedding continuous compliance capabilities in the CICD pipeline.
Mehran's educational background includes two MSc degrees, one in computer science and another in management and he is currently pursuing a third MSc in systems thinking.
Mehran takes online courses to sharpen his technical skills in his free time, listens to audiobooks and writes blogs.
During the event, Mehran will deliver a keynote titled – The Role of DevSecOps in Digital Banking.
Marine Augé, Vice President at Fidelity International Strategic Ventures
Marine is a Vice President at Fidelity International Strategic Ventures (FISV), where she has been an integral part of the team since 2021.
Marine drives investment theses that focus on cutting-edge trends shaping the financial landscape, including consumer fintech, wealthtech, pension and employee benefits and climate fintech.
Marine plays a pivotal role in advancing FISV’s research into wealth and asset management solutions. She has been instrumental in funding rounds for companies such as Moneybox, a digital-first retail investment platform and Conquest Planning, an AI-driven financial planning tool.
Additionally, Marine serves as a Board Observer for Greenly, a climate solutions platform and Ramify, an innovative wealth management and financial advisory platform designed to cater to Europe’s emerging mass-affluent investors.
Before joining FISV, Marine honed her expertise during over four years in investment banking at Evercore in London. There, she played a key role in numerous M&A and capital market transactions within the financial institution sector.
Marine, a French national, earned her Master’s degree in Finance from Grenoble École de Management.
During the event, Marine will take part in the Financing a Sustainable Future panel. She will explore the role of financial technology in driving sustainability.
Stuart Cheetam, CEO at MQube
Stuart Cheetham is the CEO and co-founder of MQube, a company revolutionising loan origination through automation and AI.
With extensive experience in financial services, Stuart previously served as Regional CEO of Lloyds Bank in Asia.
He brings deep expertise in UK intermediary distribution, leveraging his understanding of the financial ecosystem to drive innovation and improve outcomes for lenders and borrowers alike.
During the event, Stuart will deliver a keynote presentation.
