Samsung Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Samsung Group, is a leading South Korean engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company. Established in 1970 as Korea Engineering, it holds the distinction of being the country’s first engineering firm. Despite challenges, such as the $1.3bn loss in 2015 due to complex projects, the company has continually diversified its portfolio, extending into power plants and steel mills.
