Jaonna Pamphilis has more than 20 years of experience in Financial Services, M&A and Consulting. She is currently Global Head of Investments and Securities Digital Products at UniCredit.
She utilises her experience to take on challenges and create high-value IT services and processes across multiple facets of financial cooperation from multinational banks, fintechs and technology corporations.
With her roots in the US and European heritage background, Joanna gained her work experience at different stations worldwide – like State Street, KCG, UBS, Northern Trust and today UniCredit.
Being a transformational leader, she has a deep track record of impactful results while being strongly people-oriented at the same time.
Joanna is Managing Director of the Management Board at UniCredit GmbH Austria and, across the industries, well-known as a thought leader for her favourite field – transformation.
During the event, Joanna will take part in the Women in FinTech panel. She will share insights on promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the sector, as well as strategies for empowering women to thrive and lead in FinTech
Rob Branch, Head of Proposition for FinTech Labs at EY
Rob spearheads Proposition and Commercial Development for the EY FinTech Labs, collaborating with leading financial services firms and innovative fintechs.
In doing so he drives new product development, builds effective go-to-market strategies and forges strategic partnerships that address the evolving needs of clients and markets.
With over 15 years of expertise in wealth and asset management across industry and consulting, Rob has successfully delivered transformation programmes.
Such programmes range from regulatory change to cutting-edge product development. Ron is passionate about the application of digital and emerging technologies to deliver better outcomes for consumers.
Beyond his professional commitments, Rob is a coach for an entrepreneur in Africa, supporting initiatives aligned with the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification.
Michael Sim, Partner at Fidelity International Strategic Ventures
Michael is a founding partner at Fidelity International Strategic Ventures (FISV), the venture capital arm of Fidelity International.
The ventures is dedicated to investing in early-stage companies transforming the wealth and asset management industry.
With over a decade of experience in private company investing, Michael specialises in financial planning tools, retail finance and the broader wealth and asset management technology ecosystem.
At FISV, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm's portfolio and serves on the boards of Moneybox, Conquest Planning, 73 Strings and Quantifeed.
Before FISV, Michael worked at Eight Roads, Fidelity and an early-stage start-up.
During the event, Rob and Michael will take part in the FinTech Strategies panel. He will explore innovations, challenges, and opportunities in FinTech, offering a roadmap for navigating disruption and driving growth in an ever-evolving industry.
Kshitija Joshi, Vice President, Data Risk & AI Solutions at Nomura International Plc
Kshitija Joshi currently leads the Data, AI Risks and Controls team at Nomura.
Her team builds AI and machine learning solutions to redesign and intelligently automate controls and guardrails for Data and AI risks.
She has more than 22 years of experience in data science in the financial services space, having worked across companies in India, the US & the UK.
She is trained in economics and statistics and holds a Ph.D in Finance from the Indian Institute of Science. She has published several papers in international peer-reviewed journals and is also a book author.
During the event, Kshitija will take part in a fireside chat titled – AI-Powered Data Governance.
