James Morris 

Job From: Head of Business and Professional Services, Barclays

Job To: Head of Commercial Bank, UK, Citigroup

Citigroup has appointed James Morris as its Head of Commercial Bank UK. He will start at the end of the month, September 30, after leaving his 25-year career at Barclays where he most recently served as UK Head of Business and Professional Services for large corporate banking. 

In his role, he will report to Head of Citi Commercial Bank, Tasnim Ghiawadwala, and the division’s UK banking head, Tiina Lee. 

The appointment comes as part of Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser’s turnaround plan, as the bank seeks to boost its profits.

Job From: Global CMO & CEO of North America, Brevo

Job To: Chief Marketing Officer, Temenos

Isabelle Guis has joined Temenos as its new Chief Marketing Officer and member of the Executive Committee. She will report to CEO Jean-Pierre Brulard, and lead Temenos’ go-to-market product and solutions positioning as well as demand generation and marketing communications activities.

Simona Covaliu

Job From: VP Risk and Compliance, Mambu

Job To: Chief Risk Officer, PayU GPO

As PayU GPO’s new Chief Risk Officer, Simona Covaliu brings over 18 years of experience to the role, with experience at various global companies including Booking.com, Uber, and most recently Mambu. In her new role, Simona will work with PayU GPO’s privacy, compliance, risk, and security teams.

Esfira Zakas

Job From: Head of Marketing, Payabl.

Job To: Chief Marketing Officer, Payabl. 

Esfira Zakas has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer at leading paytech company Payabl. With previous experience working at Neste, Omniva and Tesonet, Esfira has more than tripled the size of Payabl.’s internal marketing function and led a company rebrand.
