1. Raman Bhatia

Starling Bank has appointed Raman Bhatia as its new Group CEO, taking over from John Mountain who was Acting CEO following Founder Anne Boden’s decision to step back from the role in 2023. 

Bhatia brings with him a wealth of experience, from his most recent role as Chief Executive at OVO to Head of Digital Bank for HSBC’s Retail Banking and Wealth Management business.

Having worked in both scaled, regulated businesses and in entrepreneurial challengers, Starling believes Bhatia is well-positioned to take it forward.

Raman holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a Trustee of Business in the Community.

2. Mike Stawchansky

Job From: SVP of Platform and Production Engineering, Collibra

Job To:  Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Innovation Officer, Finastra

Leading fintech Finastra has appointed Mike Stawchansky to the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Innovation Officer. In his new position, Stawchanksy will work in the office of the CEO.

Job To: Executive Director of Strategy and Offerings, GFT

GFT Technologies has appointed Ian Oswald as its new Executive Director of Strategy and Offerings. In his new position, Oswald will be responsible for driving the business’ capabilities and client offerings.

4. Michal Ferguson

Job From: Head of Global Demand, Snyk

Job To: Chief Marketing Officer, Fireblocks

Michal Ferguson is Fireblocks’ new CMO. Her appointment comes as part of the company’s strategic move to capitalise on growing market opportunities and address the demand for secure blockchain infrastructure.
