Fiserv Announces Lyons as New President & CEO-elect

Fiserv, Inc., the global leader in payments and financial services technology solutions, has appointed Michael P. Lyons as President and CEO-elect. Lyons will succeed Frank Bisignano, who will remain Chairman and CEO until his anticipated departure later this year.

With over three decades of industry experience, Lyons joins Fiserv from The PNC Financial Services Group, where he served as president overseeing all business lines. His impressive career includes significant achievements at both PNC and Bank of America, where he demonstrated strategic acumen through successful acquisitions and balance sheet management.

Lead Independent Director Doyle R. Simons praised Lyons' appointment, citing his blend of industry expertise, strategic vision, and proven operational excellence as key factors in the board's selection. Simons will transition to non-executive Chairman upon Lyons assuming the CEO role.

Lyons' extensive background includes executive roles at Bank of America, where he headed global corporate development and strategic planning. He currently chairs Early Warning Services, LLC, which operates Zelle and PAZE, and serves on several notable boards including the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
