Oracle Netsuite has unveiled tools to help businesses increase accuracy, reduce risk and drive efficiency
Oracle NetSuite launches integrated AI tools to streamline financial operations and reduce compliance risk for businesses navigating regulatory changes

Oracle NetSuite has introduced a suite of AI-powered tools designed to transform financial operations for UK businesses, aimed at addressing growing demands for automation in finance departments as companies seek to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes.

The cloud ERP provider has introduced several AI agents and capabilities specifically targeted at finance teams. These include a Financial Exception Management agent, automated bill capture, and electronic invoicing functionality to address compliance with new regulations across Europe.

“Organisations in the UK are looking to AI to help them be more productive and do more with less, but knowing where to start can be overwhelming,” said Evan Goldberg, Founder and Executive Vice President at Oracle NetSuite. “With our AI built in, not bolted on and by offering it at no additional cost, NetSuite is helping customers reduce the barrier to entry.”

The Financial Exception Management agent uses agentic AI to detect and manage financial anomalies. The system identifies transactions requiring investigation and provides insights to resolve issues before period close.

NetSuite Bill Capture utilises AI and machine learning to automate invoice processing. The system employs document object detection and optical character recognition to populate invoice fields, applying learnings from previous vendor invoices to improve accuracy over time.

For businesses operating across borders, NetSuite Electronic Invoicing helps companies comply with differing e-invoicing standards, including recently introduced mandates in Germany. The system allows firms to send and receive invoices electronically in structured data formats compatible with tax authorities.

The company has also unveiled SuiteSuccess Anything-as-a-Service Edition, aimed at UK organisations with diverse product and service revenue streams.

“We’re seeing more and more businesses that offer both products and services, which adds a new level of complexity,” said Evan. “Modern businesses with diverse revenue streams need to connect data and automate processes across their financials, inventory, sales operations and more.”

Beyond finance-focused tools, NetSuite introduced several other AI capabilities. Text Enhance for custom fields leverages company data to populate fields with AI-generated suggestions. NetSuite Expert for SuiteAnswers delivers tailored guidance based on support resources, while SuiteAnalytics Assistant enables users to retrieve information and create reports via natural language queries.

A new Prompt Management API centralises the deployment of prompts used by large language models in NetSuite. This API enables customers and partners to programmatically control NetSuite Text Enhance prompts and integrate generative AI features into custom solutions.

NetSuite has also announced a connector for Microsoft Outlook. The integration creates real-time data flow between Outlook Mail, Calendar and NetSuite, reducing manual data entry for sales teams.

User experience updates include implementation of Oracle’s Redwood Design System across dashboards, lists and forms. NetSuite Field Service Management now allows technicians to upload multiple documents and pictures with a single click from mobile applications.
