David Palmer

David Palmer leads product development at Vodafone's Pairpoint as Chief Product Officer. His extensive experience in digital transformation drives the creation of cutting-edge solutions that boost security, transparency, and efficiency for Vodafone's worldwide enterprise customers.

As Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Vodafone's Digital Asset Broker (DAB) platform, David focuses on merging blockchain, IoT, DeFi and Metaverse technologies. His strategic guidance and leadership keep Vodafone at the cutting edge of tech innovation, significantly shaping our digital landscape.

Nelson Wootton, CEO and Co-founder, SaaScada

Nelson Wootton

Nelson Wootton co-founded and leads SaaScada as CEO. This innovative cloud-native core banking platform empowers financial institutions to rapidly introduce new features and products while substantially reducing costs compared to conventional systems.

Bringing over two decades of experience in high-level technology and business roles, including positions as CTO and CIO, Nelson is a fervent supporter of cloud technology.

Throughout his career, Nelson has focused on harnessing cloud solutions to fuel business innovation and transformation. Since 2006, he has consistently delivered successful global projects, demonstrating his expertise in leveraging cloud technology for business advancement.

Jason Maude, Chief Technology Advocate at Starling Bank

Jason Maude

Jason's career in the financial sector spans over a decade, during which he has excelled as a coder, coach, and public speaker.

His expertise lies in software development and delivery, with a particular knack for explaining intricate technical concepts to those who doubt their ability to grasp them.

While managing his primary responsibilities at Starling, Jason also hosts the Starling Developer podcast, offering listeners a unique glimpse into the inner workings of one of the UK's prominent challenger banks.

Jason's tenure at Starling began in 2016 as a Senior Developer. He quickly progressed to Head of Technology Advocacy in 2017 before taking on his current role in 2019, marking over seven years with the company.

Prior to joining Starling, Jason spent nearly a decade at CHP Consulting, where he held various positions in consulting and management.

Steve Round

Steve is Co-founder of SaaScada and has 25 years of disruptive financial services experience across the UK, Europe, Russia, Africa and the Gulf. 

Having worked with both major financial institutions and start-ups, Steve believes that the way to build a better world is through the creation of financial systems that are inclusive and accessible. 

Steve is the Chair of the Governing Board Forum of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) and is also on the board of Centenary Bank in Uganda, which is a member of GABV.

Joanna Pamphilis, Managing Director of the Management Board at UniCredit GmbH Austria 

Joanna Pamphilis

Joanna Pamphilis, boasting over two decades' experience in financial services, M&A and consultancy, currently holds the position of Global Head of Investments and Securities Digital Products at UniCredit. 

Her leadership drives the creation of high-value IT services and processes across various facets of financial cooperation, spanning multinational banks, fintechs and technology firms.

Drawing from her American roots and European heritage, Joanna has forged a diverse career at renowned organisations worldwide, including State Street, KCG, UBS, Northern Trust and now UniCredit. 

As a transformational leader, she melds a strong track record of impactful results with a people-centric approach.

Joanna's expertise enables her to navigate complex challenges in the financial technology landscape, harnessing her extensive experience to drive innovation and efficiency in digital product development.

Steve Bowers, FinTech Development Manager at CFC

Steve Bowers

Steve Bowers serves as the Fintech Development Manager at CFC. His career in the insurance sector spans over a decade, with his tenure at CFC beginning in 2017. For more than six years, Steve was a key member of the UK Technology team before transitioning to the newly established Fintech team in early 2023.

Steve's role encompasses underwriting a range of insurance products, including Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers (D&O), Cyber, and Crime coverage. Additionally, he oversees global broker engagement, fostering relationships across the industry.

Daniel Flowe, Head of Digital Indentity at London Stock Exchange Group’s (LSEG) Risk Intelligence division

Daniel Flowe

Daniel Flowe is Head of Digital Indentity at London Stock Exchange Group’s (LSEG) Risk Intelligence division. At LSEG for more than four years, Daniel is also a board member, advisor and investor whose career is built on leadership roles in high growth and emerging technologies. 

His first startup sold to Ford in 2018, and he was a C-suite member of GDC when it was purchased by LSEG in 2022. As a member of the Risk Intelligence team, he’s focused on what’s next for digital identity, particularly as it relates to finance and other regulated segments.

Huw Davies, Co-founder and CEO of Ozone API

Huw Davies

Huw Davies is the Co-founder and CEO of Ozone API, with 28 years of experience in banking. He previously served as Global Head of Payments at HSBC and as Head of Digital Payments at MasterCard. 

As Ecosystem Development Director at the OBIE, Huw played a key role in advancing open banking in the UK. He has a proven track record of building high-growth businesses, both within major corporations and as independent startups. Now, as the leader of Ozone API, Huw is driving the development of Open Finance globally.

Bentzi Aviv, Global Head of FinTech Solutions at Amdocs

Bentzi Aviv

Bentzi Aviv is the Global Head of FinTech Solutions at Amdocs, with over 20 years of experience in digital transformation. 

For the past 11 years, he has led Amdocs' financial services and fintech division, driving innovative technology initiatives for leading global financial institutions. 

A passionate advocate for helping banks stay competitive in the digital age, Bentzi focuses on key financial technologies such as cloud computing, infrastructure modernisation, digital payments and Generative AI.

Luke O’Leary, Head of Product Law at Qonto

Luke O'Leary

Luke O'Leary is a highly regarded fintech adviser and operator, with a wealth of operational, legal, and financial expertise across key fintech hubs in London, Paris and New York. 

Formerly a finance and private equity lawyer and banker, Luke has transitioned into Product & Strategic Partnerships Counsel.

As Head of Product Law at Qonto, a B2B fintech, he has played a pivotal role in scaling the company from 300 to 1,600 employees, expanding the legal team from two to 25 professionals. 

His current responsibilities encompass a wide range of business banking products, including cards, payments, credit, onboarding, pricing, invoicing, expense management and tax payments, alongside growth partnerships, IP and Generative AI strategy.

Nick Maynard, VP of Fintech Market Research at Juniper Research

Nick Maynard

Nick Maynard is the VP of Fintech Market Research at Juniper Research, where he helps clients identify new market opportunities, prioritise future growth and gain insights into their customers through survey projects. 

He also enjoys assisting clients in showcasing their expertise and market vision through engaging thought leadership content, including whitepapers, webinars and other media. Nick has been featured in major news outlets such as CNBC, Coindesk and the BBC.

Kirk Donohoe, Chief Product Officer and a member of the executive team at Mangopay

Kirk Donohoe

As Chief Product Officer and part of the executive team at Mangopay, Kirk Donohoe is responsible for shaping and executing the company's product strategy.

In 2020, he co-founded WhenThen, a platform that streamlined the creation of smart, modular payment infrastructure for global platforms and marketplaces. As CEO, Kirk led the company until its acquisition by Advent International in November 2022.

Previously, as Senior Vice President of Product Innovation at Mastercard, Kirk spearheaded digital innovation and transformation projects in banking and commerce, working with major companies like HSBC, Citibank, Bank of America, British Airways and Target.

Jas Narang, Chief Transformation Officer & Financial Crime Director at Santander UK

Jas Narang

Jasmeet (Jas) Narang is the Chief Transformation Officer and Financial Crime Director at Santander UK.

In his role as CTO, Jas and his team collaborate with departments across Santander UK and the Group to develop core capabilities, including customer interactions, digital transformation, process re-engineering, data management, agile working methods, supply chain management and organisational development. 

Its goal is to lay the groundwork for the bank’s future growth while maximising productivity.

Jas also leads the teams responsible for preventing, detecting, and disrupting financial crime across Santander UK and serves as the central authority for regulatory and group compliance.

Matt Cumbers, Chief Risk Officer for NatWest Cushon 

Matt Cumbers

Matt is the Chief Risk Officer at NatWest Cushon, a fintech pensions and savings provider. He and his team are responsible for managing the firm's risk exposure and ensuring compliance with current and evolving regulatory requirements. Prior to joining Cushon, Matt worked in the retail and specialist banking sectors.
